A few questions about my blog and creations - from Dayu

Dayu wrote this article on his blog: Hey Blogger, I Want to Ask You These 9 Questions! - Another Dayu. These questions are quite interesting, so I’ll ask myself as well.

  1. Briefly introduce yourself or your blog?

    1. Hello, my name is "A Bit Impatient." Interestingly, when people meet me, they feel that I am not impatient at all, which seems inconsistent with my nickname and arouses some curiosity. It should be after I came across "The Card Note Writing Method" in 2021 that I started trying to create. Later, I attempted to write some articles on platforms like Yuque and Zhihu. I have always wanted to find a suitable platform to build my own blog, and this year I discovered xLog - Write. and built my blog A Bit Impatient (xlog.app). It mainly records my learning, work, and life experiences.
  2. What prompted you to start writing a blog?

    1. Writing a blog first requires starting to write. In 2021, I accidentally saw a recommendation for "The Card Note Method" on Zhihu. After reading it, it felt like I had opened up my writing channels, and the pressure of writing seemed to lessen significantly. I then got into the field of knowledge management and wrote my first article My Knowledge Processing Factory—Refusing to Transport - Minority (sspai.com) during the "Digital Stationery Box" essay activity by the Minority group, and I received a fee for it. This beginning had a significant impact on me; it turned out I also had the ability to write.
  3. How do you complete your creations?

    1. Haha, still "The Card Note Writing Method." In my learning and work, I jot down my inspirations or thoughts in Flomo or my note-taking software—Siyuan Note. Then I look up relevant materials and continuously improve and supplement them. When the content I have accumulated or my thought processes become clear, I combine these "cards" and process them to complete my creation.
  4. Have you ever lost motivation while running your blog? If so, what helped you recover? If not, how do you maintain your passion for writing?

    1. I don’t set requirements for myself to write one article a week or one a month. However, after buying a camera last year, I became "addicted" to photography, and my writing became slack. This year, I have regained some of my writing feelings. Some difficulties in work and study seem to stimulate my desire to create even more.
  5. How to build a blog, and what is the annual financial investment required to operate it?

    1. I built my blog through xLog - Write., which is a web3 blog building solution and requires zero cost investment.
  6. Recommend one article from your blog and one blog you like to read, and discuss the reasons.

    1. Rebuilding Nearby—How Should I Regain My Life - A Bit Impatient (xlog.app) is an article I wrote last month. Of course, the idea for this article came to me back in August. The "tyranny of time" since industrialization has made us lose control of our lives. I wrote a bit about how to regain life from our surroundings and nearby areas.
    2. A blog I like to read—previously, I always read Shaonan's "Product Reflections," but it has been discontinued, which is somewhat regrettable.
  7. Recommend one recent favorite thing?

(For example, books, movies, music, tools, software.)

    1. Recently, I was recommended "Follow," which is an RSS aggregation tool. I am trying to aggregate the blogs and information streams I follow into one place to manage fragmented information input uniformly. It’s a great application that I really like.
  8. What is something you want to do but haven't done yet, or a theme you want to try but haven't tried yet?

    1. It seems I don’t have anything particularly I want to do yet. I hope to have enough creative motivation to continue writing.
  9. Writing to this point, close your eyes, take a deep breath for a few minutes, or go for a walk, then come back and write anything you want.

    1. I went out for lunch, and it was drizzling. An autumn rain brings a chill; it seems that winter is coming before I even feel autumn. There is nothing I desire more than sunshine right now.
    2. I feel a bit lost; it seems that the fog of the rainy day is affecting my mood.
    3. In the afternoon, I will look at the book my friend gave me and write something.
